Ça-va-Seul is a leading polishing brand with a 124 year old history both in Belgium and Luxemburg. The brand represents currently different shoe polishing products ranging from the simple polishing cream to more advanced products such as leather maintenance cream, product caring sprays and insoles. It is the intention to leverage the brand strengths cross different markets and countries.

Job description

Reporting to the Commercial Manager Non-Food, your key responsibilities will be the following:

  • Brand management: responsible for the full marketing mix:
  • Definition of Brand vision and long term goals
  • Management of the financials: Budgets and P&L strategy on :
    • product portfolio,
    • pricing,
    • communication,
    • promotion,
    • distribution
    • Lead in innovation projects
    • The management of qualitative, quantitative research projects in close collaboration with agencies
    • Media plan development in close collaboration with agencies – including social and online media
    • Promotion development (concept -> realization)
    • Definition of the brand KPI’s, measure & evaluation, propose & implement corrective actions; assess business opportunities; develop brand and channel priority matrix per value driver
    • Volume forecasts

Profile description

  • You hold a master degree level ideally in Marketing/Economics or other business orientation background
  • 10 years of relevant experience within brand marketing (& sales) experience at a FMCG company
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams, demonstrate leadership, pro-active attitude
  • Strong conceptual, analytical skills
  • Good negotiation, project management and presentation skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (proficient Excel)
  • Fluent in French and Dutch, good knowledge of English
